Our Vision
Alhidaya Croydon has been considering an educational institute for the Croydon communities ever since its inception. We have been blessed to pray our Taraweeh and Qiyam by leading scholars of our age. We have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to listen to their monumental recitations of the Quran, so much so that when we announce a Qari is coming from these cadres, we end up scrambling for spaces to accommodate our guests.
How do we protect this level of interest? How do we make our youth and children continue this beautiful attachment to the book of Allah? How do we treasure this in our hearts? The only way is to memorise the Quran. Considering the success of Alhidaya madrasa among the Croydon communities, we decided to inaugurate a Hifz Institution and thus born Alhidaya Hifz Institute.

When we discussed this idea with Shaykh Abu Bakr Shatri, Shaykh Ahmed Masarawi and other leading reciters and Qari’s, they all have wholeheartedly agreed to be on our advisory board. It is not about facilitating the memorising process but it’s also about guiding our students in their entire journey to become learned scholars, guiding the parents to give their children a balanced academic education, as well as Islamic education and that is the niche Alhidaya is planning to add value with.
